Cato-Meridian Social Studies provides a framework for understanding the world and participating in society. It gives a knowledge of where we have been and how we interact with each other as well our government.
Our content includes history, politics, geography, economics, anthropology and sociology.
While our program seeks to provide information on history , politics and society it also develops skills students need for later success. These include thinking skills, ability to work and relate to others in groups, as well as reading and writing skills.
