Cato-Meridian Elementary students recently walked and ran laps around the track for the first-ever Walk-A-Thon fundraiser. Students went to the track during special areas and were met by family members and volunteers who tracked laps for each student.

Students collected pledges from family members, friends, and community members based on how many laps they were expected to compete. As of Monday, June 6, students raised more than $3,200. These funds will support literacy initiatives and family engagement in the school community, such as PARP and One Book, One School.
