Jennifer Dorschel
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Jennifer Dorschel is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for the Cato-Meridian Central School District. She oversees these areas throughout the district and supports teachers as they work to make an impact on student achievement. Mrs. Dorschel holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Science in Literacy Education (Birth-Grade 6) from Oswego State University of New York, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from Stony Brook University. Mrs. Dorschel has been an educator for over 15 years.

Jen Taylor
Literacy Coach

Jennifer Taylor is a Literacy Coach for the Cato-Meridian School District. She supports teachers in developing high quality literacy instruction based on the Science of Reading. She provides professional development through workshops, observations, model lessons, feedback conversations, data analysis and curriculum support. Mrs. Taylor holds a Bachelors of Science  degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Science degree in Literacy both from Oswego State University of New York. Mrs. Taylor has been teaching for more than 20 years in the Cato-Meridian School District. She began her career teaching Kindergarten before moving to teach 8th grade Social Studies and most recently returning to Kindergarten.
